Vashini is rooted in four generations of agricultural legacy. We — a team of engineering graduates — decided to honour that legacy, step away from our corporate careers and take Vashini from being local farmers to global growers and exporters.
The aim was and is to grow the best bounty on our farms and deliver the highest quality produce to the Indian diaspora and the world.

2010
Vashini comes into the world, set up by our founder Mr. Muruganandam. We establish a new way of working that transforms the farming community in Pollachi — we train the farmers and pay them guaranteed prices, while we handle the harvest and exports.
2012
Vashini becomes India's only exporter of mature coconuts to EU countries including the UK and Spain. We reach new heights with 80% of our exports going to the European market!
2014
New frontiers breached! We make our entry into the North American market and start processing and exporting IQF coconuts in addition to our star fruit - the fresh mature coconut.
